Every good-- or bad-- idea starts with a blank piece of paper. It's been almost two years since MadisonAvenueSpy was a blinking curser on an empty white screen. I could never imagined the warm reception and support I received by the blogging and online community.
Today, we start again, with a blank screen and flashing curser. This time, focusing our attention to all that dazzles. You can forget about designer name paste, we're pulling out our loop and inspecting every facet of the real thing. We'll be inspecting designers' new collections, spot industry trends, hunt for the best deals and we'll be requesting numbers because price upon request shouldn't mean it can't be yours.
I may have grown up on Madison Avenue but was put to work on 47th Street. My first "job" --at the age of five-- was searching the carpet of my father's office for dropped diamonds. I would wrap my little index finger in scotch tape and scrape the carpet to get lost diamonds to pop out of the rug. I would earn a $1 for every found gem. I think we can all figure out who got the better part of that deal. Hopefully, my hands on education will translate to a wealth of knowledge to you.
